In August, I was selected as the first Artist-in-Residence at the Aloft Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee. My works are featured throughout the main lobby and walkways of the hotel.

Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and wanting to make my own contribution, I began creating chalk portraits of Black leaders, artists, scientists, writers, musicians, and athletes outside my Bay View home. I am thrilled that they have resonated with people and have been featured in a number of local and national media outlets.
